We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Data Governance Analyst to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide data governance frameworks. This rolewill ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance across business units, enabling trusted data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Collaborate with data stewards, owners, and custodians to define and enforce data quality rules.

  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics and compliance with governance standards.

  • Support metadata management, data lineage documentation, and data catalog initiatives.

  • Facilitate data issue resolution and root cause analysis across systems and domains.

  • Partner with IT and business teams to ensure alignment between data governance and data architecture.

  • Develop a governance framework for all businesses, regions and functions in an effort to simplify complexity.

  • Assist in regulatory compliance efforts (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) related to data handling.

  • Conduct training and awareness sessions to promote data standards and exercise best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Data Management, or related field (Master’s a plus).

  • 5- 7+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or data management roles.

  • Knowledge of master data management (MDM) principles.

  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).

  • Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).

  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations, compliance standards and risk mitigation methodology.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with all levels of leadership.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Proficiency in SQL and data profiling techniques is desired.

  • Certification in data governance or data management a plus(e.g., CDMP).
