Our vision for Information Technology at BD

In our BD IT team, we deliver effective and innovative technologies that help us to keep our entire business running day to day. Our aim is to provide the tools, systems, insights and protection for BD associates to efficiently do their work.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the execution of cybersecurity initiatives including risk assessments, compliance reviews, and resilience programs
  • Define project scope, success measures, timelines, and resource needs
  • Monitor and analyze progress, performance, and compliance across cybersecurity efforts
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Align cybersecurity programs with regulatory frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR
  • Build and maintain dashboards to visualize KPIs, risk metrics, and project outcomes using tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Use data analytics to identify patterns, anticipate risks, and guide strategic decisions
  • Ensure governance and alignment with the Technology & Global Services Operating System
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and results to internal teams and external partners
  • Manage budgets related to cybersecurity projects and initiatives
  • Deliver training and awareness programs on digital resilience and cybersecurity best practices
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for cybersecurity governance processes and ensure continuous improvement across the Cybersecurity & Risk (C&R) team

About you

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Bring at least three years of experience managing projects
  • Understand cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory standards
  • Skilled in using data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
  • Possess certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, CISM, CBCP, or CISA (preferred but not required)
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and working across teams in a dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Attention to detail ensures that every aspect of work contributes to the success and resilience of the organization.
