The Global Supply Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring supply to deliver revenue, growth and cash commitments across global platforms and product lines. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, customer service goals, and inventory optimization strategies. Responsibilities:
Ensure supply for assigned product platforms to achieve customer service goals, revenue commitments, and inventory optimization
Team with global supply teams and operations to align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities
Monitor production attainment for assigned product lines and proactively communicate capacity constraints, material shortages, and significant events impacting supply
Monitor capacity loading on assigned production lines and engage cross-functional partners as needed to resolve capacity constraints proactively
Partner with global demand planners to understand impacts to supply plans and proactively mitigate risk to customer service, inventory levels and cost
Develop global inventory allocation strategies as needed, including production prioritization
Responsible for exception reporting, including root cause, mitigation actions, and resolution date
Deliver safety stock targets for assigned product portfolio
Perform inventory analysis as needed, including tracking against targets, overstock, run out, and E&O risk
Work with cross functional partners to ensure timely acquisition of materials and capacity supporting finished goods, raw materials, and sub assemblies to mitigate risks and deliver platform commitments
In collaboration with Procurement, Operations, and Finance - Lead SIOP with Suppliers to ensure supply to support all requirements
Lead supply planning activities in support of IBP and product lifecycle management for innovation, new product development, and sku rationalization
Ensure all Planning Parameters and Master Data are aligned to Planning and Inventory Strategies
Disposition aging orders Intransit to DC to ensure accurate supply plan to deliver the demand plan
Execute product lifecycle management activities to deliver new product development, innovation, and sku rationalization
Ensure all KPIs are met (service, delivery, inventory, cost efficiency)
Work with UCC Stakeholders within commercial, finance, regional supply chain, global supply chain, and operations to identify, advance, and resolve barriers, risks, or issues to deliver key projects
Minimum Requirement:
- BS Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, Engineering. MBA and / or advanced degree preferred.
- 5 + years of experience in global supply chain operations and process excellence roles.
- Demonstrated experience working in ERP systems (i.e. SAP, JDE, etc.) required.
