Main responsibilities:
Tender, Contracting & Pricing Excellence
- Collaborate with local DS leadership team, EMEA stakeholders to define how Price Structure, Price Level and related Commercial Terms will be used to support business strategy across the DS platforms. Define effective local policies for setting, approving and controlling pricing grids for all customer segments (hospital and non-hospital) with the aim of maximizing price impact and profitability.
- Define and deploy - in collaboration with BNL and EMEA stakeholders - best-in-class processes and tools for competitive price intelligence and elasticity estimates to gauge the impact of BD DS pricing strategy.
- Define and execute programs that drive tender excellence from pre-tender shaping over bid preparation and post-tender analysis.
- Optimize contract management processes and assure seamless annual contract renewal & price adjustment processes.
CRM implementation & Master Data Management
- Deliver on our ambition to create an unmatched customer experience and seamless customer communication by liaising closely with Benelux DS team
- Ensure deployment of SFDC and that ongoing training and support are sufficient for a successful adoption by the local sales, clinical and marketing teams.
- Deliver Data quality through high quality Master Data management, together with DS commercial excellence team.
- Provide coaching of sales leaders in use of dashboards and analytics in managing and coaching of their sales teams. Assist the Sales team in developing their capability and bias to leverage analytics for focus and performance improvement.
- Oversee key adoption and performance metrics (including target setting) and drive gap closure. Leverage analysis to effectively advise on performance improvements opportunities.
Preferred requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in economics, business administration, healthcare or related field.
- Experience in working in a large multinational or international matrix organization.
- 3+ years’ experience in diagnostic testing and career progression in the relevant fields.
- Successful experience in customer-facing roles with evidence-based track record in solution selling and cross functional selling.
- Team management experience.
- Business savvy, business acumen with strong commercial mind-set and knowledge of commercial processes and commercial process optimization. High level of finance-for-business acumen
- High sense of urgency and focus with strategic agility, conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
- Processes and program development with a strategic approach to the solution.
- Excellent communication skills, including an ability to deliver clear, concise messages to both management and the local teams.
- The ability to engage, involve and influence cross functional teams (sales, marketing, clinical) to drive the required outcome for the customer.
- Project management and leading change initiatives with ability to lead complex initiatives involving various stakeholder groups, setting priorities, given only high-level guidance
- Effective interaction with all levels of internal and external staff in problem solving
- Performance orientated and able to work to delivery of agreed targets.
- Fluency in English, Dutch both written and spoken. French is a pre
