JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the VP/GM Worldwide Commercial Leader, the Sr. Director, Global Commercial Operations will lead the global commercial operations function across our Pharmacy Automation portfolio. This role is critical in enabling commercial excellence, driving operational efficiency, and supporting scalable growth across regions.

As a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and Finance, this leader will oversee global sales operations, forecasting, analytics, CRM optimization, pricing governance, and commercial process improvement. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, systems-oriented leader with deep experience in building high-performing commercial operations teams in complex, matrixed environments.

This role will play a pivotal part in transforming our commercial infrastructure to support a blended portfolio of capital equipment, software, and services — enabling recurring revenue growth and customer-centric execution.

Scope: The Sr. Director will lead a global team responsible for commercial operations across all customer segments and geographies. This includes:

  • Commercial analytics and reporting

  • CRM strategy and optimization

  • Pricing governance and deal desk operations

  • Demand planning and forecasting

  • Territory and quota design

  • Commercial process standardization and automation

  • Contracting and quoting

This leader will be instrumental in aligning commercial strategy with execution, ensuring our global teams are equipped with the tools, insights, and processes needed to win in the market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to define and operationalize go-to-market strategies

  • Lead global sales enablement initiatives, including training, content development, and performance tracking

  • Drive segmentation and account targeting strategies in collaboration with Marketing

  • Support funnel health and pipeline management through analytics and forecasting

Sales Operations & Enablement

  • Own global CRM strategy, adoption, and optimization

  • Partner with BDX resources and regional sales teams to develop and manage territory planning, and quota setting, and incentive design

  • Establish scalable processes for lead management, opportunity tracking, and sales cycle acceleration

Pricing & Deal Support

  • Lead global pricing governance and deal desk operations

  • Ensure pricing strategies align with value propositions and market dynamics

  • Support contract development and commercial negotiations with data-driven insights

Analytics & Insights

  • Build a robust commercial analytics function to support decision-making

  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools for visibility into performance, pipeline, and productivity

  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for sales and marketing teams

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and mentor a high-performing global commercial operations team

  • Foster a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement

  • Promote cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales strategy, or business operations in healthcare, medtech, or life sciences

  • Experience supporting capital equipment and software/service portfolios

  • Proven success in leading global teams and driving commercial transformation

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Salesforce or other enterprise CRM platforms

  • Comfortable navigating both strategic planning and operational execution
