By supporting robust business cases and guiding investment decisions, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our innovation pipeline and achieving long-term growth.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support scenario planning and risk analysis for major initiatives and long-term strategies.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure financial governance and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Partner with project management and procurement teams to ensure cost control and contract compliance.
  • SOX compliance, month end close, etc.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate with global finance teams to align on reporting standards and best practices.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems supporting R&D and innovation.

Education and Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics, providing a solid foundation in financial principles and strategic analysis.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience across MedTech, healthcare, and technology sectors, with a focus on R&D investment and new product development (NPD); proven exposure to innovation-driven functions.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, guiding teams and influencing decision-making at all levels.
  • Must have demonstrated experience managing both operational (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) expenditures, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated expertise in month-end close processes, accruals, and SOX compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) with expert-level Excel skills, including complex financial modeling.
  • Proficiency working with ERP platforms (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Great Plains) and data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the innovation lifecycle and strategic execution.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership, drive alignment, and deliver high-impact strategic outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, fostering partnerships across diverse teams to achieve organizational goals.
