Job Description
Your key responsabilities:
- Design and execute sourcing strategies that go beyond cost—delivering value, innovation, and risk mitigation.
- Select and manage suppliers for your business unit, ensuring alignment with performance, quality, and strategic goals.
- Monitor market trends and customer needs to continuously refine sourcing plans.
- Drive annual price performance across assigned categories.
- Lead end‑to‑end supplier selection, from market scanning to final approval and communication.
- Negotiate contracts that meet business requirements and secure long‑term value.
- Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders, building trust and enabling procurement excellence across the organization.
Your profile:
- Minimum 7 years of senior‑level experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within complex, global manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead major transformation initiatives, including supplier landscape redesign, category strategy evolution, and long‑term value creation.
- Deep expertise in category management and strategic sourcing, with strong understanding of technical or industrial components and the ability to challenge established approaches.
- Strong commercial and negotiation acumen, with a proven record managing high‑value international portfolios and influencing multi‑regional supply ecosystems.
- Executive presence and credibility to operate confidently at C‑suite level, engaging senior leaders internally and across key supplier organizations.
- Analytical, forward‑looking mindset, capable of interpreting market dynamics, assessing supplier capabilities, and converting insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French is a strong asset.
- Proactive, results‑driven leader with a history of successful strategy execution in matrixed environments, fostering cross‑functional alignment and building trusted partnerships.
- Compensation range: 180k–200k CHF fixed base.
