Job Description Summary

The Manager, SCG Data & Technology Enablement plays a lead role in executing SCG and Clinical Transformation operating plans by managing the day to day use, integration, and operationalization of BD Learning Academy (BDLA) and Data Mesh capabilities. This role translates defined strategies into structured workflows, dashboards, and enablement assets that support SCG account planning, customer engagement, and clinical readiness insights.

About the role:

This role operates as a hands-on subject matter expert, ensuring BD Learning Academy (BDLA) and Data Mesh outputs are reliable, governed, and actionable for Strategic Customer Group (SCG) field teams and leadership. This role translates defined strategies into structured workflows, dashboards, and enablement assets that support SCG account planning, customer engagement, and clinical readiness insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Determines workflow design, metadata governance steps, dashboard requirements, and prioritization of operational enhancements within established SCG and BDLA frameworks.
  • Influences cross‑functional teams (SCG Ops, CI&A, MedTech, SCG Enablement) by translating needs into requirements and ensuring consistent interpretation of data products.
  • Accounts for the quality, accuracy, and usability of BDLA and Data Mesh outputs supporting SCG.
  • Influences SCG operational decisions by providing trusted data, dashboards, and enablement insights. Lead operational execution of BDLA content workflows supporting SCG priorities, including content onboarding, lifecycle management, and training analytics.
  • Partners with business units and centralized teams to ensure BDLA learning pathways align to SCG account strategies and clinical transformation goals.
  • Monitors BDLA completion, adoption, and utilization metrics; translate insights into actionable summaries for SCG leadership. Manage the operational use of Data Mesh insights for SCG, including assessment trends, indicators, engagement history, and clinical readiness signals.
  • Supports development and maintenance of standardized dashboards and reports used in SCG targeting, account planning, and operational reviews.
  • Ensures data products are documented, governed, and consistently interpreted by SCG stakeholders. Takes a lead role in executing established operating plans for BDLA and Data Mesh within SCG.
  • Partners with SCG operations, analytics, and technology counterparts to ensure tools are used consistently and effectively.
  • Serves as the primary operational point of contact for BDLA and Data Mesh support within SCG. Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or adoption challenges and recommend process improvements.
  • Supports recurring operational cadences (e.g., weekly ops reviews, enablement check‑ins) with reliable data and insights.

 You are an individual who regularly delivers high‑quality insights that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities, strengthening strategic decision‑making and elevating the value of data.

Success in this role is defined by the ability to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable data that empowers SCG leadership to make informed decisions. This includes consistently producing dashboards that meet high standards of precision and punctuality, driving strong adoption and meaningful use of BDLA across the organization, and ensuring full adherence to data governance policies.

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, enablement operations, or commercial operations
  • Specialized, non‑entry‑level expertise in hands‑on experience with learning platforms, analytics tools, dashboards, or data products
  • Strong ability to translate clinical data into operational insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Proven cross‑functional collaboration skills

Preferred qualifications:

  •  Preferred analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, SQL familiarity)
  • Experience with LMS or LXP (Cornerstone, Docebo, etc.)
  • Experience supporting commercial field teams.
