Job Description Summary

Sr. AI Product Manager is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of custom AI digital products and SaaS AI solutions to meet the needs of internal and external customers. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements of use case submissions, assisting in defining product specifications, ideating on customer centric user experience, managing project timelines, supporting product concept-to-launch, and evaluating product performance for value realization. The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in AI/automation technologies, and experience with agile/waterfall methodologies. The product manager will collaborate closely with the AI team, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful implementation of AI solutions. This role is within the Technology & Global Services (TGS) organization (CIO organization) and would support our internal teams across many different Business Units, Functions and Regions accelerating internal operational efficiencies.

Core Responsibilities

As our Senior AI Product Manager, you will have a crucial role in this transformation! Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building a foundational understanding of all AI service offerings managed internally, confidently offering solutions to reuse pre-built digital products or assessing new custom AI solutions.

  • Leading feasibility assessments and crafting meetings with business collaborators, coordinating ROI-based cases for each AI implementation.

  • Assisting in capturing and prioritizing customer requirements for custom AI products and SaaS AI solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

  • Managing digital product visions, roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables while closely collaborating with the AI development team and external partners.

  • Promoting Responsible AI across the organization through collaborator conversations and prioritization.

  • Supporting the product development process in an agile environment, applying tools such as Planview, JIRA, Confluence, and Azure DevOps or equivalent experience.

  • Encouraging a baseline technical understanding of Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Databricks, Copilot Studio, Copilot Chat, and other AI platforms.

  • Leading in planning and accomplishing product launches, ensuring high product quality and value delivery.

  • Building positive relationships with collaborators to understand and map functional processes.

  • Supporting the creation of documentation and standards for new AI work types within the Technology & Global Services (TGS) operating system.

Education and Experience

To be successful in this role, we require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a STEM field.

  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing and supporting AI/cognitive solutions in a fast-paced environment.

  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency in AI/automation, covering generative AI and AI/ML technologies.

  • 5 years of experience working with agile platforms like Azure DevOps boards, JIRA, and similar tools.

  • 5 years of experience in managing business collaborators.

  • A foundational understanding of the skills needed for deploying AI solutions (e.g., Azure cognitive services, Azure DevOps, Vector databases, etc.).

  • An understanding of both Agile and Waterfall project management/execution methodologies.

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.

  • The ability to operate effectively in uncertain situations and keep delivering results.

  • Proficiency in project and product management within an agile framework.

  • The capacity to absorb information swiftly and adjust to evolving customer and market demands.

  • Excellent team collaboration and cross-functional influence skills.

  • Strong written documentation, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

  • Effective leadership and analytical skills.

  • A strategic approach and problem-solving abilities.
