Job Description Summary
Performs CAD drafting duties on tooling design, fixturing, equipment build and electrical schematics in support of Engineering activities for Process DevelopmentJob Description
Perform basic redline reviews, Update basic CAD drawings per Engineering Change Requests (ECR) through PDM (Product Data Management) system for PDC in collaboration with team members
Convert/Modify basic sketches or marked-up prints into engineering drawings utilizing CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Solidworks, Creo) in accordance with process and procedures for PDC
Provide routine R&D engineering support from Design, Fabrication/Rapid Prototyping, Engineering Studies to Equipment Troubleshooting on projects within PDC under supervision of other team members and/or stakeholders
Required Skills
Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English
Experience with Rapid Prototyping will be advantageous preferred
Able to operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate experimental parts for testing will be advantageous
Experience in reading, interpreting, and creating of CAD drawings and electrical schematic
Proficient in Solidworks is a must.required; Will be advantageous with eExperience on Creo, AutoCAD, CAD PDM preferred
Proficient in drafting principles, techniques and procedures
