Job Summary:
CareFusion 303, Inc. is seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. This role will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering features for our innovative healthcare technology products, ensuring they meet market demands and strategic objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned technical product areas, aligning with overall business goals.

Requirements Definition:

Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

Backlog Management:

Own and prioritize the product backlog for one or more agile development teams, ensuring a clear and prioritized list of work for each sprint.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and design teams, facilitating clear communication and understanding.

Technical Understanding:

Possess a strong understanding of the technical architecture and underlying technologies of the products to effectively communicate with engineering teams and make informed decisions.

Release Management:

Work closely with engineering and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Market Analysis:

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.

Performance Monitoring:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and inform future product iterations.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate potential risks and impediments to product development and delivery.

Documentation:

Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date product documentation, including user stories, functional specifications, and release notes.

Job Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a software development environment, preferably within the healthcare technology sector.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum), APIs, and database concepts. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.

Analytical Skills:

  • Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Problem-Solving:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach.

Collaboration:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Certifications:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification is a plus.

Domain Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with healthcare industry standards, regulations (e.g., HIPAA), and workflows is highly desirable.
