- Sales and Marketing:Promoting and selling medical devices, demonstrating product features and benefits, and meeting sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals, identifying their needs, and providing solutions.
- Product Knowledge:Staying up-to-date on the latest medical device technology, clinical data, and competitor products.
- Technical Support:Assisting with product demonstrations, providing technical support during procedures, and ensuring proper device usage.
- Sales Reporting:Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and expenses.
- Territory Management:Managing and developing a sales territory, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales goals.
- Travel:Traveling to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Sales and Negotiation:Strong sales and negotiation skills to close deals and build long-term relationships.
- Technical Aptitude:Ability to understand and explain complex medical devices and their applications.
- Customer Service:Providing excellent customer service and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organization and Time Management:Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a sales territory and meet deadlines.
- Business Acumen:Understanding of medical device market trends, competitor activity, and reimbursement policies.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, healthcare administration, or business) is typically required.
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry, is often preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical practices is beneficial.
