Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Customer Quality Relation manager, the French speaking Customer Quality Relations Specialist serves as a key liaison between Becton Dickinson Europe Holdings and its customers, with a focus on product quality issues. The role is responsible for ensuring the timely and effective handling of quality-related inquiries/complaints, and other PMQ activities across multiple business units. It primarily supports French-speaking regions—mainly France and the Benelux—while potentially covering additional areas, all while maintaining high customer satisfaction and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes.Job Description
Main responsibilities will include:
- Manage Customer Requests: Address quality-related external customers (HCP) or internal customers (BD associates: sales rep, marketing, etc...) inquiries promptly and provide effective resolutions.
- Support Business Units: Assist BDX business units and stakeholders in customer communications.
- Build Relationships: Collaborate with local BDX teams to understand their needs and expectations, while promoting and representing the post-market quality function.
- Monitor Feedback: Organize and analyze customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide Training and Coaching: Support and train local teams, including on-site visits when needed, on post-market quality issues.
- Report Performance: Prepare and present regular reports on Customer Quality Relations (CQR) metrics and performance to Quality and BU leadership at the EMEA level.
- Implement Corrective Actions: Validate and communicate corrective actions with stakeholders, maintain monitoring records, and ensure timely execution in affected regions.
- Disseminate Procedures: Share quality procedures and manage scheduling and tracking of related training.
Requirements:
- Degree level or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
- Good English (both written and spoken)
- French (C1 or native)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing needs of the organization; including taking on broader aspects of a task and leveraging skills and knowledge to deliver better outcomes for the organization.
- Capable of managing various activities at the same time and meeting internal and external deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and quality management software (Knowledge about Salesforce or Trackwise is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Ability to handle difficult customer situations with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Nice to have: knowledge of the European regulatory and legal requirements in the field of Medical Devices and in vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices and any specific local Cluster requirements.
