Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the review and approval of educational content(presentations, videos,other content asidentified)for surgical programs, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with BD standards.

• Collaborate with medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) teams to route content for approval, ensuring proper citation of reference material and compliance with regulatory and legal guidelines for claim statements and disclaimers.

• Maintain content databases andutilizerouting/review system (VeevaMedVaultandPromoMats) to track progress and version control.

• Manage organization of educationalcontent,ensuring expired material is removed or routed for reapproval asappropriate.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and external vendors as needed to support content development and updates.

• Identifyopportunities to improve content workflows and implement process enhancements.

• Manage Surgical Education Team communications, includingnewsletter content andthe Surgical Education mailbox.

• Develop promotional materials as needed and route for medical/legal/regulatory approval.

• Supportad hoc project management needs.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members or contractors as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or technical writing from an accredited college or universityrequired.

• 3+years of experience managing written content in a regulated environment required, preferably in the medical device orlife sciencesindustry.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory guidelines for claim statements in a regulated industry.

• Advancedproficiencywith content management systems(e.g.VeevaPromoMats), routing tools, and databases.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders independently with moderate guidance.

• Precision, adaptability, anda commitmentto excellence in content management.

• Must be able to speak and write English fluently.

Salary or hourly rate ranges have been implemented to reward associates fairly and competitively, as well as to support recognition of associates’ progress, ranging from entry level to experts in their field, and talent mobility. There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary or hourly rate offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and any step rate pay system of the actual work location, as applicable to the role or position. Salary or hourly pay ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles. 

Salary Range Information 

$74,846.15- $119,753.85 USD Annual
