Job Summary:
The Sr Manager, Operational Excellence will lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across Augusta Life Sciences US OpCo I LLC's operations, focusing on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring sustainable high performance. This role is critical in fostering a culture of operational excellence and delivering tangible business results.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational excellence strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.

  • Lead and facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement projects across various departments, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and R&D.

  • Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement through data analysis, process mapping, and root cause analysis.

  • Champion the adoption of best practices, tools, and methodologies for process optimization and waste reduction.

  • Develop and deliver training programs on operational excellence principles, tools, and techniques to employees at all levels.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and report progress to senior leadership.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department heads and teams to ensure successful project execution and sustainment of improvements.

  • Act as a change agent, influencing and motivating teams to embrace continuous improvement and a problem-solving mindset.

  • Manage and mentor a team of operational excellence professionals (if applicable), fostering their development and growth.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in operational excellence methodologies and technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or process improvement roles
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing complex improvement projects with measurable results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cultural change
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience with change management principles and techniques
  • Ability to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field)
  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience specifically within the life sciences or a highly regulated industry
