As a result of the combination of the BD Biosciences and Diagnostic Solutions business with Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), by applying to this role, you will be applying for a position with Waters. Job Description

Lead the marketing strategy for a growing Diagnostics business and help shape the future of Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics and Laboratory Automation across ANZ.

As Marketing Manager – Diagnostics ANZ, you'll lead a talented marketing team while driving the strategy, growth and commercial performance of a highly specialised diagnostics portfolio.

This is a rare opportunity to influence a business at a pivotal stage of its growth journey. You'll work across Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, Laboratory Automation and Informatics, partnering with Sales leaders, key opinion leaders and global stakeholders to bring new technologies to market and drive meaningful commercial outcomes.

You'll have the opportunity to shape strategy, develop emerging marketing talent and play a key role in defining how the Diagnostics business continues to evolve following the transition to Waters ownership.

Your Day-to-Day

You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution across a highly specialised diagnostics portfolio.

You will:

  • Lead the ANZ marketing strategy across the Diagnostics business, aligning local execution with regional and global priorities
  • Develop and execute portfolio strategies across Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, Laboratory Automation and Informatics
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team, creating clear development pathways and building future capability
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to ensure strong alignment between marketing initiatives and commercial objectives
  • Identify opportunities for portfolio growth, market expansion and business development
  • Evaluate market trends, customer insights and competitive activity to inform strategic decisions
  • Drive successful product launches and commercialisation activities across ANZ
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with pathology laboratories, laboratory managers, pathologists and key opinion leaders
  • Support the development of local clinical evidence, publications and customer advocacy programs
  • Lead participation at industry conferences, symposiums and customer events
  • Own the tender process and support strategic commercial opportunities
  • Own the S&OP process, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment across commercial and operational teams
  • Collaborate with Product Specialists, Key Account Managers and commercial leaders to drive portfolio performance
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to ensure local market needs are represented and addressed

You will spend time in the field alongside Sales teams and customers, ensuring strategies translate into real customer impact and commercial outcomes.

About You

You understand the diagnostics market and know how to turn customer insights into commercial opportunities.

You may currently be leading complex portfolios and influencing teams without the formal leadership title, or be an established marketing leader looking for broader portfolio ownership and strategic impact.

You'll bring:

  • Marketing, Product Management or Commercial experience within Diagnostics, Life Sciences, Medical Devices or Healthcare
  • A solid understanding of the Microbiology/Molecular Diagnostics or Pathology industry.
  • Experience managing complex technical product portfolios
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales teams to drive commercial outcomes
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to coach and develop others
  • Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience developing and executing portfolio or go-to-market strategies
  • The ability to translate customer and market insights into practical business actions
