Job Description Summary

The Manager, Market Intelligence and Insights will serve as a strategic partner for our Canada Market Intelligence and Insights Hub and will be responsible for driving customer optimization and consolidating market intelligence to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role is critical for advancing our understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and predictive analytics. The Manager will act as a significant contributor to the delivery of cross business objectives like expanding the depth and breadth of our individual BU offering, accelerating growth through collaboration across the various BDX portfolios and driving key growth initiatives through targeted metrics.

Job Responsibilites

As the digital subject matter expert for the Canadian team, this individual will provide strategic guidance and develop the direction and transformation of the digital function while collaborating global and regional partners. This role will:

  • Develop and implement sophisticated customer segmentation strategies to identify key customer groups and their behaviors.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics and research techniques to create detailed customer profiles and personas that drive targeted marketing and product development efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations to help the organization stay ahead of market changes and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Utilize data mining techniques to uncover patterns, correlations, and insights that inform business strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement predictive models to forecast customer behavior, market trends, and business outcomes.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to provide insights that drive customer optimization, enhance engagement strategies, and improve overall business performance.
  • Aggregate and synthesize market intelligence from multiple sources to create comprehensive reports and dashboards.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable format, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure research methodologies are rigorous and findings are validated and reliable.
  • Create organizational wide reports that support common themes and opportunities to drive One BD.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Expertise in data management, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing research teams and projects.

Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Market Research, Marketing or related field

  • Proven experience in market intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role, with a strong track record of using data to drive business outcomes.

  • Experience in Project Manager, possible certification in PROSCI.

  • Travel requirement varies up to 15% depending upon opportunity and complexity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or advanced certification preferred.
  • Experience with pricing excellence is an asset.
  • Pipeline understanding along with Research and Development Environmental Knowledge is an asset.

Our salary or hourly rate rangesrewardassociates fairly and competitively. We regularly review these ranges and factors, such as location, contributeto the range displayed.

Our pay is based on the role and the necessary skills and education to perform it successfully. The salary or hourly rate offered isdeterminedby therole'sspecific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the worklocationwhich may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role. ​

Salary Range Information:  $76,000.00 - $129,200.00 CAD Annual
