Job Description Summary
We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Professional Education Manager (Oncology) with a proven track record in Healthcare to join our PI EMEA team, focused on Health Care Professional (HCP) Education and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) identification, management and development. This newly created role, reporting to the Senior Market Development Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of educational programs across our Oncology portfolio with practicing Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) relative to key focus areas.The individual in this role will work closely with the regional marketing and Medical Affairs teams to understand and audit the learning needs of HCPs. Further developing suitable Professional Education programmes aimed at addressing these needs according to the strategy. The role will also measure the performance of the programmes through post course survey, SFDC and customer feedback.

The Professional Education Manager is responsible for:
- Collaboration with internal and external partners to design, develop and implement a worldclass professional education programs including but not limited to congress symposia, workshops, Summits, online and face to face training.
- Aligns with cross functional EMEA partners to ensure strategic needs for external education and training are met and manages the learning pathways to ensure customers receive the right type of education best suited to addressing their learning needs.
- Builds relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support our HCP Education Programs and other marketing activities and supports initiatives with key societies with whom BD create professional education partnerships.
- Supports the sales organisation in identification of KOLs and Centres of Excellence and works collaboratively to ensure that the identified bodies are given the proper education and training.
- Execution of assigned project workstreams/deliverables, setting a consistently high standard in health professional training initiatives.
- Develops targeted tools and presentations to form the foundation for HCP Educational presentations, including AdProm submission and approval.
- Continuously seeking feedback from Sales around training needs, key accounts, and field activities.
- Assure a blended learning and omni-channel approach aligned to the regional marketing strategy.
- Ensure that the medical education activities follow BD’s regional and local compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assuring the logistics related to courses including registrations, course information and post course evaluation data analysis and reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Planning, tracking and optimization of the Professional Education budget.
- Responsible for ensuring that physicians attending Professional Education activities are correctly identified according to key target personas for specific events.
- Embrace innovative learning and look for opportunities for flexible learning solutions that truly meet the needs of our customers.
- Maintaining up to date technical, clinical, and guideline knowledge of current BD Oncology solutions and a general knowledge of PI solutions.
- In addition to the above, the Professional Education Manager may be asked to participate and carry out other reasonable requests.
Tools, Processes & Communication:
- Create, improve and monitor tools used by the commercial teams
- Utilize all BD resources to support initiatives such as SFDC, BD Learning Academy, etc
Relevant qualifications
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in sales, clinical or other medical industry discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Science or related discipline
- Strong presentation skills
- Highly effective interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external customers
