Job Summary:This position is responsible for lead the continuous improvement activities of the manufacturing site. This includes coordinate projects and Blitzes to improve quality, service, and financials; as well establish with activities associated to the CI strategy, projects and goals.

- The CI Engineer II is responsible to complete the continuous improvement projects assigned at the plant and work on high impact projects. Coordinate activities with the resources assigned to each project
- planning, design, and execution of continuous improvement projects (Kaizen events)

- Complies with the GMP’s, Quality Standards and established policies and/or procedures.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related career
- 1 years as a CI Engineering running high impact projects, Project Engineering and / or Change Management related experiences is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Awareness of manufacturing concepts such as Troubleshooting/Root Cause Analysis, Capacity, Component/Secondary Operations, Equipment, Preventive Maintenance, Tooling, Validation, and COGS. Complete understanding of assigned areas. BOM changes. Cycle Time development Strong understanding of CI concepts: Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC Process validation knowledge (IQ, OQ, PQ).
- Strong understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Minitab Visio).
- Knowledge of cGMP’s. and OSHA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Methodology.
- Good communication skills, analytical skills, and business acumen.
- Good oral and written skills.
- Proven ability to work as part of a project team.
- Applies an organized approach to solving problems and achieving objectives.
- Identify problems and determines possible causes utilizing all the data available.
- Capable to communicate in English.
