BD is a global medical technology company dedicated to advancing the world of health. The Acute urology PureWick portfolio is a rapidly growing franchise focused on improving patient dignity, clinical outcomes, and workflow efficiency in acute care settings.
Overview
The Acute Urology PureWick Marketing Summer Intern will support innovation, new product development, and downstream marketing execution across the PureWick portfolio.
This position will work closely with upstream and downstream marketing, Innovation, and R&D teams to support programs and activities across an industry-leading product portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects while gaining valuable professional experience in marketing, project management, and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
PureWick Innovation, New Product Development, and Product Launch Activities
Actively participate in cross-functional product development and innovation meetings.
Assist in strategy development, business case creation, and prioritization for innovative new programs.
Support voice-of-customer and customer insight generation activities.
Support product launch activities and liaise with field sales and clinical teams.
Marketing Collateral
Conduct research on product features, clinical use cases, and competitive positioning.
Assist in the development and substantiation of marketing materials supporting the PureWick portfolio.
Coordinate feedback from marketing, clinical, regulatory, medical, and legal stakeholders to support final collateral production.
Minimum Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college program majoring in business administration (marketing), communications, or related field required. Rising Senior is preferred (Class of 2027)
- Available to work full time in a hybrid office environment (Monday - Thursday would be in office and Friday would be remote)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Highly organized and able to work independently.

- Interest in healthcare industry.
- Demonstrates a high level of initiative and self-confidence.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills and decision making abilities.
- Has excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, follow through, and meeting deadlines.
- Has strong presentation skills.
- Is resourceful and proactive.
- Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
