This includes the control and maintenance of the same inventory. The Quality Associate Tech 2 reports to the Quality Supervisor.

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Tech 2 will be responsible for performing routine quality inspections, tests, and documentation to ensure products meet C.R. Bard's stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports the production process by identifying and addressing quality non-conformances.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct in-process and final inspections of medical devices and components according to established procedures and specifications.
Perform various quality tests, including visual inspections, dimensional measurements, and functional testing, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment.
Document inspection and test results accurately and thoroughly, maintaining detailed records in compliance with quality system requirements.
Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate actions such as segregation and disposition.
Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with production personnel to address quality concerns and provide guidance on quality best practices.
Participate in the review and update of quality documentation, including work instructions, inspection procedures, and forms.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and information as requested.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Operate and maintain quality control equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a technical field or related discipline preferred.
2-4 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
Demonstrated ability to use various inspection tools, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inspections and documenting results.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant quality system regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
