Job Description Summary
The Specimen Management business is seeking a Global Marketing Manager to support its Lab Specimen Management portfolio. BD is the global market leader in Specimen Management, with leadership positions in both its containment portfolio (BD Vacutainer®) and Specimen Acquisition portfolio.As a key member of the Global Marketing team, the Global Marketing Manager will help shape the strategic direction, general management, and financial performance of the BD Vacutainer® Hematology & Specialty Tubes portfolio. This role will also contribute to the broader Blood Collection Tubes portfolio within the Lab Specimen Management (containment) business.
This position plays a critical role in delivering strategic insights that influence go-to-market strategies and product development decisions. The Global Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and regional marketing teams, serving as a portfolio expert and central resource to support the commercial success of the Lab Specimen Management platform.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for the global strategy and performance of the BD Vacutainer® Hematology & Specialty Tubes portfolio.
Partner with international and regional marketing and sales teams to support global commercialization efforts.
Conduct market and customer analysis to find opportunities for innovation and portfolio expansion.
Handle the full product lifecycle, including competitive assessments and development of pricing strategies and guidelines.
Integrate commercial insights into the Coordinated Business Planning (IBP) process to advise strategic decisions.
Direct market research efforts to generate short- and long-term forecasts and interpret market trends.
Supervise global competitor activity across products, sales, and marketing to inform strategic positioning.
Develop and implement strategic and tactical go-to-market plans, including product positioning and messaging.
Build and maintain sales enablement tools such as training materials, collateral, guides, and tutorials.
Provide expertise across the full marketing mix, including advertising, digital marketing, direct marketing, tradeshows, public relations, and scientific communications.
Maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and new technologies.
Qualifications
Education
BS/BA in business, science, marketing, or health care required
MBA is preferred
Experience
At least 3 to 5+ years’ work experience (IVD, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or consulting experience is preferred)
Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development
