Your Mission: Lead the Future of Structural Heart in France

We are looking for an exceptional commercial leader to take ownership of BD’s direct go-to-market transformation for Structural Heart in France, starting with our rapidly growing True Valvuloplasty platform.

As National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building, leading, and executing the sales strategy in one of the most strategic and high-potential markets in Europe. Your mandate: develop France into a reference country for Valvuloplasty by establishing a high-performing team, expanding our reach in TAVI centres, and securing BD’s footprint in the balloon valvuloplasty segment.

We’re looking for someone who can blend strategy and execution, inspire talent, and make True one of BD’s top-selling and growth drivers in France.

Main responsibilities:

Strategic Market Development

  • Map white space and prioritize accounts based on SAM, TAVI procedure volumes, and unmet needs
  • Identify and develop local KOLs and early adopters to drive procedural momentum
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to shape local strategy
  • Feed local insights into regional planning, becoming a key voice in BD’s leadership
  • Implement new commercial models in the structural heart segment

Drive Commercial Excellence

  • Own and deliver the national sales targets, driving double-digit growth across direct accounts
  • Build strong account plans, execute flawlessly, and secure adoption in France’s top TAVI centers
  • Lead pricing strategy, value communication, and margin optimization with hospital stakeholders
  • Ensure clinical credibility and confidence through expert engagement with heart teams and KOLs

Build & Lead the French Field Team

  • Recruit, train, and inspire a new sales team focused on True Valvuloplasty and future launches
  • Coach your team to become trusted advisors in the TAVI procedural space
  • Create a culture of performance, agility, and challenger mindset
  • Implement performance management systems with accountability and celebration of wins

Preferred profile

Minimum 8 years of experience in Structural Heart, Interventional Cardiology, or Cardiac Surgery

  • Strong network and understanding of the French hospital landscape, especially heart teams
  • Proven track record of sales leadership—hiring, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
  • Ability to move from strategic vision to field execution with discipline and speed
  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting, and passionate about building something new
  • Native-level French and fluent English

France is one of the most strategic markets for Peripheral Intervention and for Tavi in Europe, and valvuloplasty plays a growing role in the TAVI care pathway. With the TAVI procedure volume expanding at  high single digit annually, and expected to double over the next decade, balloon-based solutions like True are becoming increasingly relevant.

This role is critical to accelerate our footprint in this space and shape BD’s position in one of the fastest-evolving segments of interventional therapy
