Area Sales Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Area Sales Manager to join our team in Guwahati, Assam. This is an outstanding chance to be a part of a world-class company that is committed to advancing the world of health!

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and carry out strategic sales plans to reach business objectives in the healthcare sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business prospects within hospitals, institutions, and government tenders.
  • Manage distribution channels and ensure flawless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate and conduct professional education programs for healthcare professionals to drive product adoption.
  • Maintain positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and manage dealer networks effectively.
  • Attend medical procedures with healthcare providers to demonstrate product capabilities.
  • Monitor market trends, recognize threats and opportunities, and suggest strategies to address them.
  • Travel a minimum of 10-12 days out of the headquarters each month to cover the assigned territory.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in the health services industry, preferably with exposure to surgical or diagnostic organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with hospitals, institutions, and government tenders.
  • Experience in distribution and coordinating professional education programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Preferably experienced with medical devices, especially in specialties such as Biopsy, Oncology, Nephrology, Radiology, and Urology.
  • Outstanding candidates from other specialties will also be considered.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Past experience in a med tech device company and an MBA will be preferred.
