Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Marketing & Contract Specialist to join our EMEA Marketing team in Barcelona. This is a pivotal role at the crossroads of marketing execution, compliance, and customer engagement, providing operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards in our interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
You will coordinate and support both internal strategic meetings and external customer-facing events, while also serving as the contract analyst for HCP engagements across the region. In this role, you will collaborate daily with marketing, commercial, compliance, and medical education teams, ensuring flawless execution of processes that are critical to business success.
Main responsibilities will include:
Coordinate and manage internal EMEA Marketing meetings and workshops, ensuring seamless planning, execution, and follow-up.
Provide professional support for selected external events, ensuring that BD’s presence is consistently impactful and customer-focused.
Serve as liaison with KOLs and HCPs, coordinating logistics, communication, and follow-up for scientific programs and engagements.
Lead the HCP contract process: drafting, reviewing, and tracking contracts in close partnership with Compliance and Legal.
Ensure contracts are delivered with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulatory and ethical requirements.
Act as the subject matter contact for internal partners on contracting processes, providing guidance and process improvements.
Build strong relationships with KOLs, ensuring smooth collaboration and a professional experience when partnering with BD.
Partner with marketing and commercial colleagues to support execution of central initiatives across EMEA.
Actively find opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen the customer experience.
About you
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Law, or related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within healthcare, MedTech, or pharma.
Proven track record coordinating HCP/KOL contracts and interactions.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in interacting directly with KOLs and senior partners.
Proficiency in English (Spanish and/or another European language is a strong advantage).
High degree of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
