The Marketing and Operations Associate plays a pivotal role in supporting the tactical execution of marketing initiatives for BD Canada’s Medication Management Solutions segment. Embedded within a dynamic, cross-functional team, this role contributes to the implementation of strategic marketing plans while building expertise in marketing operations, communication, and business acumen. Key responsibilities include managing service contracts to ensure compliance and audit readiness, coordinating logistics and supply chain activities, and supporting order-to-cash processes. The Associate also oversees administrative functions such as agreement tracking, demo equipment management, and Customer Experience Centre operations, ensuring seamless execution and a high-quality customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and manage service agreements/contracts to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing operations, and contracts teams to support sales strategies and track key metrics such as renewals, expirations, and modifications.
- Receive, evaluate, and process Drug Classification Requests (DCRs), ensuring accuracy, completeness, stakeholder coordination, and full compliance throughout the approval and execution process.
- Track and manage demo equipment inventory, including shipping, returns, deployment, and maintenance to ensure functionality and proper storage.
- Oversee daily operations of the Customer Experience Centre, ensuring it is organized, functional, and prepared for customer visits and product demonstrations.
- Coordinate with Product Managers and Clinical Teams to plan and execute customer visits and schedule equipment maintenance.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Pharmacy Automation order-to-cash workflows to support order execution.
- Support consumable order management in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Maintain product part numbers and associated pricing in BD systems.
- Assist in executing customer communications related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM/SPI).
- Manage logistics for MMS conferences, including booth setup and equipment coordination.
Education and Experience required:
- College degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, Project Management with at least 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, with hands-on involvement in project management, event and logistics coordination, and related administrative tasks such as agreement processing.

Knowledge and Skills required:
- Technologically proficient, with the ability to perform data entry and navigate CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Skilled in strategic planning and task prioritization to support team-wide processes.
- Resourceful and creative in problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and explore alternative solutions.
- Proactive in anticipating needs and taking initiative to support business operations.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with CRM/SAP or similar system
- Experience with Salesforce or similar system
- Fluency in French
