Job Description Summary
The Clinical Resource Consultant is a position in the BD MDS Czech Republic Medical Affairs organisation and is responsible for implementing customer-focused solutions, building relationships with decision makers, for HCP consulting & clinical support, support distributors with training and education aligned with the business managers and plans, education & training for HCP in order to support the business goals. The Clinical Resource Consultant coordinates customer projects with the Customer Facing Team (CFT) and develops services in area of customer-specific solutions and process optimization. Moreover, the Clinical Resource Consultant MDS (m/f/d) also conducts product and customer trainings, actively participates in information events, exhibitions and workshops and drives and supports signature solutions℠ program. The Clinical Resource consultant takes an active role in developing distributor managed territories by education & training of Distributor staff and HCP Trainings in Distributor led Projects. In cooperation with the Medical Manager, “he/she/they” will actively take part of scientific exchange with HCP, identify business evidence needs, will identify and share market insights and will be actively cooperate with KOL.The main region to cover will be the northwest of the Czech Republic, including West Bohemia, Ústí nad Labem, and Karlovy Vary.
Job Description
Main responsibilities will include:
Education & Training:
- Delivery of product & educational trainings from basic trainings, Level 1 specific product training, through level 2: advance product training and level 3: advanced practice training for HCP. If required, internal training of country associates on medical/scientific/technical areas.
- Conducts product and customer training on the wards for the purpose of advertising and to support HCP when introducing new products, as well as actively participating in and conducting information events, exhibitions and workshops.
Service Solutions:
- Understand the customer's needs, priorities and challenges in order to offer customer tailored solutions.
- Is responsible for the identification, of BD MDS Medical Services (e.g. BD Signature solutions℠, Best Practice Trainings, e-Learning). Including the set-up, execution of service solutions and sharing reports with HCP. The aim is to support identified challenges through training, process optimization and product-side solutions.
HCP Consulting & Clinical Support:
- Executes planned and ad-hoc medical & clinical support to HCP in support of the business strategies.
- Defines and coordinates customer projects in close cooperation with the sales management and sales, according to the agreed marketing and sales concepts, and develop services in the area of customer-specific solutions, maintenance standards and process optimization.
- Is responsible for knowing the current national and relevant international guidelines for MDS Portfolio in order to ensure that healthcare counselling is based on the latest knowledge.
KOL Engagement:
- Establish & maintenance of credible peer to peer relationships with the KOL as identified by the country KOL and society strategy.
Business support:
- Systematic structure and the documentation of the project processes as well as the analysis of the sales turnover in the area of responsibility with the help of the existing data systems
- Develop and realize business opportunities for our BD MDS solutions.
- Defines and coordinates customer projects in close cooperation with Sales.
Professional Skills:
- Fluent in Czech & good in English.
- Certified as a Nurse or Paramedic with not less than four years’ experience in paramedic environment or hospital, ideally specialist in intensive care/anesthesia, hygiene or oncology. A bachelor’s degree in Scientific Disciplines is a plus.
- 2 + years of experience in medical/clinical roles and/or Medical Companies.
- Knowledge of the Healthcare System and medical device industry.
- Very good knowledge of PCs and common EDP programs (MS Office, CRM).
