As a Bilingual Project Manager within our Medication Management Solutions segment, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation of projects, collaborating closely with customers, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure successful planning, scheduling, and execution. Our client base includes acute care institutions, independent (retail) pharmacies & long-term care pharmacies within the Canadian market. Projects are often complex and require strong leadership to ensure positive outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Job responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership & Coordination: Lead and coordinate day-to-day activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in line with organizational goals, departmental policies, and contract terms.
  • Project Planning: Create detailed project plans, including clear milestones and task assignments, to guide the team toward successful completion.
  • Scope & Customer Management: Define and manage project scope, integrating customer priorities into the project plan and effectively managing customer expectations regarding our products/services.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop action plans to address them, and appropriately escalate issues as necessary to mitigate project delays or obstacles.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide guidance and leadership to both customers and internal project teams, ensuring alignment and timely issue resolution.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Accurately forecast current and future revenue for assigned projects, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Communication: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with customers, project teams, and leadership. in both French and English.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the successful delivery of projects and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the implementation process.
  • Team Leadership: Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Governance & Reporting: Utilize project governance tools, including scope documents, project status reports, risk and change logs, and tollgates, to effectively track and manage project progress.
  • Project Closure: Oversee complete project closure, including customer acknowledgment, equipment reconciliation, and transition to the Customer Support Center (CSC).

Education and Experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree or College Diploma including 3-5 years of professional experience in project management, registered pharmacy technician, pharmacy practice assistants, or a similar role in the healthcare industry is required.
  • Fluent in both French & English (read write speak) is required. This role will be required to interact with customers and stakeholders in both languages.

Knowledge and Skills required:

  • Project Management Methodologies: Apply industry-standard project management methodologies to ensure effective delivery of projects.
  • Governance Processes: Understand and implement project governance best practices, including scope management, risk and change management, and tollgate processes.
  • Forecasting & Backlog Management: Ensure compliance with forecasting and backlog management processes, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
  • Pre-Sale Support: Participate in the pre-sale process for assigned projects, contributing to proposals and customer engagement.
  • Project Closure & Transition: Manage the final stages of the project, ensuring smooth handover to CSC and customer satisfaction.
  • Professional Development: Continuously develop both technical and soft skills necessary to excel as a project manager.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and build effective project teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional decision-making and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Excellent internal and customer communication, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and maintain strong team leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Specific knowledge of BD business and experience implementing healthcare IT software solutions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with retail pharmacy systems and procedures that integrate with BD products is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Pharmacy Automation systems such as medication packaging would be an asset.

Work environment:

  • This field position can be based in either provinces BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NB, NS, and should reside near a major airport to facilitate travel across Canada, which requires approximately 25% travel. Travel may fluctuate based on project and team needs. Overnight travel and travel during non-standard business hours may be required, with flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends, as necessary.
  • Must be able to travel across Canada for management of projects and in the US for training or meeting purposes required.

Responsabilités

  • Leadership et coordination de projet : Diriger et coordonner les activités quotidiennes, en veillant à ce que les projets soient terminés dans les délais, dans le respect de la portée et conformément aux objectifs organisationnels, aux politiques départementales et aux conditions contractuelles.
  • Planification de projet : Créer des plans de projet détaillés, incluant des jalons clairs et l’attribution des tâches, pour orienter l’équipe vers une réalisation réussie.
  • Gestion de la portée et des clients : Définir et gérer la portée du projet, intégrer les priorités du client dans le plan de projet et gérer efficacement les attentes du client concernant nos produits et services.
  • Gestion des risques : Identifier proactivement les risques du projet, élaborer des plans d’action pour y répondre et escalader les enjeux au besoin afin de réduire les retards ou obstacles.
  • Collaboration interfonctionnelle : Fournir orientation et leadership aux clients comme aux équipes internes, en assurant l’alignement et la résolution rapide des problèmes.
  • Prévisions de revenus : Prévoir avec précision les revenus actuels et futurs pour les projets assignés, en veillant à atteindre les objectifs financiers.
  • Communication : Démontrer d’excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite lors des échanges avec les clients, les équipes de projet et la direction, en français et anglais.
  • Satisfaction client : Assurer la livraison réussie des projets et maintenir un haut niveau de satisfaction tout au long du processus de mise en œuvre.
  • Leadership d’équipe : Diriger les équipes de projet, favoriser la collaboration, entrainer, encadrer et développer les membres de l’équipe.
  • Gouvernance et rapports : Utiliser les outils de gouvernance projet, y compris les documents de portée, rapports d’avancement, registres de risques et de changements, et les étapes-clés, pour assurer un suivi efficace.
  • Clôture de projet : Superviser la clôture complète du projet, y compris l’acceptation par le client, la réconciliation de l’équipement et la transition vers le Centre de support client (CSC).

Éducation et Expérience requises :

  • Baccalauréat ou diplôme collégial incluant 3 à 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans la gestion de projets, comme technicien(ne) en pharmacie inscrit(e), assistant(e) de pratique pharmaceutique ou rôle similaire dans l’industrie de la santé.
  • La maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (lecture, écriture et expression orale) est obligatoire. Ce rôle nécessitera d’interagir avec des clients et des parties prenantes dans les deux langues.

Connaissances et Compétences requises :

  • Méthodologies de gestion de projets : Appliquer les normes de l’industrie pour assurer l’efficacité de la livraison.

  • Soutien en prévente : Participer au processus de prévente pour les projets assignés.
  • Clôture et transition : Gérer les étapes finales du projet et assurer une transition fluide vers le CSC.
  • Développement professionnel : Développer continuellement les compétences techniques et générales.
  • Solides compétences en négociation et relations interpersonnelles.
  • Capacité à diriger et construire des équipes efficaces en environnement matriciel.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en prise de décision et résolution de conflits.
  • Communication à l’interne et client exceptionnelle, tant orale qu’écrite.

Qualifications souhaitées :

  • Connaissance spécifique des activités de BD et expérience en implantation de solutions logicielles de TI en santé.
  • Connaissance des systèmes de pharmacie de détail et des procédures intégrant les produits BD.
  • Expérience des systèmes d’automatisation de pharmacie, comme l’emballage de médicaments.

Environnement de travail :

  • Ce poste sur le terrain peut se situer dans les provinces suivantes : BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NB, NS. Doit résider près d’un aéroport majeur pour faciliter des déplacements (~25%). Déplacements potentiels de nuit, en dehors des heures normales, fins de semaine.

Our pay is based on the role and the necessary skills and education to perform it successfully. The salary or hourly rate offered isdeterminedby therole'sspecific requirements, including any applicable step rate pay system at the work location. Salary or hourly pay ranges are influenced by labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the worklocationwhich may also affect the workplace arrangement of the role.

Salary Range Information: $69,000 - $119,000 CADAnnual
