Job Summary

  • Overseeing Singapore Regional Distribution Operation including issues resolution, ERP system transition and readiness activities & continuous improvements.
  • Ensuring that the quality systems of Singapore Regional Distribution Centers/Warehouses comply with the requirements of the relevant standards, corporate, region and local regulation requirement such as ISO 13485 & GDPMDS.
  • SME Role for Secondary Assembly and ERP system (JDE/SAP).

Note: This position is a 1 year contract role to support integration project transition. 

Job Responsibilities

Quality Oversight & Compliance

  • Oversee and ensure the Singapore Distribution Centre maintains a robust and compliant Quality System aligned with applicable regulatory requirements and Quality Agreements.
  • Provide quality oversight and management of repacking, relabelling, over-labelling, kitting, bundling, and reworking operations conducted within the 3PL Distribution Centre.
  • Manage product hold activities and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.

Process & System Integration

  • Lead, participate in, and represent Quality in transition projects, implementations, and initiatives related to warehouse operations and secondary assembly integration.
  • Act as the local Subject Matter Expert (SME) and point of contact for ERP system (e.g. SAP & JDE) and secondary assembly-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and data integrity during migration and implementation projects.

Documentation & Training

  • Create, revise, review, and approve global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure effective implementation within the distribution centre.
  • Train Quality associates on ERP systems and secondary assembly processes.
  • Provide quality insights for secondary assembly activities, including country-specific labelling requirements.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and deliver qualitative and quantitative reports, analyses, and insights to support transition and migration projects.
  • Support management reporting and executive-level presentations.

Complaint Handling

  • Manage product complaint sample handling and support investigations.

Additional Duties

  • Execute any other tasks and projects as assigned by Management.

Preferred Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant quality assurance experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry in manufacturing and/or commercial supporting businesses.
  • Bring along at least 3-5years of work experience in supply chain/warehouse/ logistics related field with quality understanding.
  • Relevant experience in quality systems, non-compliance investigation, corrective & preventive action, and document & quality records management.
  • Experience in SAP & JDE system.
  • 50% travel to warehouse

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge in SAP & JDE system knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Able to use Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with knowledge of formulas and ERP systems such as SAP & JDE.
  • Prepare management reports and analysis for presentation at Executive level.
  • Well versed in secondary assembly process is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Singapore GDPMDS (Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices), ISO13485 or US FDA QSR will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Good communication skills and demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization
  • Effective leadership and communication skill.
  • Self-starter with the desire and ability to take initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under time constraints, manage competing priorities and deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems and requests in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Drive for results and action oriented with a high sense of urgency.
  • Continuous and versatile learning.
