Job Description Summary

As an Account Manager for Diagnostic Solutions in Finland, you will play a key role in strengthening our position in the diagnostic market. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that our solutions continue to meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and laboratories. This is an excellent opportunity to combine your commercial acumen with your understanding of diagnostic workflows to make a tangible impact on healthcare delivery in Finland. We are open to candidate South of Finland, ideally in the Helsinki area.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets and expand BD’s market presence in diagnostics.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, including laboratory managers, clinicians, and procurement professionals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through product introductions, competitive conversions, and territory expansion.
  • Deliver effective product presentations and demonstrations to highlight the value of BD’s diagnostic solutions.
  • Negotiate and manage sales agreements in line with company standards and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, technical support, and customer service to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Provide accurate market insights, forecasts, and updates to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay informed about market developments, competitor activity, and relevant healthcare trends in Finland.

About you:

  • Degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in sales within the diagnostic industry is a must.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations and diagnostic processes, with insight into the Finnish healthcare system. Your pathology/microbiology background will make you a great fit.
  • Efficient territory mapping, confident computer usage, including CRM systems and analyzing sales data.
  • Dedicated, strategic, and collaborative, with a focus on achieving results and building long-term customer partnerships.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken; valid driving licence and readiness to travel across Finland.

The salary or hourly rate offered to a successful candidate is determined by their experience, education, and skills, as well as the labor laws and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements applicable to the work location.
