Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Management Intern to support cross‑functional R&D project teams in schedule management, risk management, project coordination, process improvement, and will be exposed to Obeya and Kaizen practices. The intern will develop hands‑on project management experience within an engineering and product‑development environment. The intern will support project leadership to help ensure key objectives of the Project Management Office are met, such as; projects stay on track, risks are controlled, and key project information is visible and well‑maintained.

This internship begins on May 18th, 2026 and ends on August 15th, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of Project Management team members, support project planning, scheduling, and cross‑functional coordination

• Assist in tracking project progress, risks, and issues across multiple programs

• Create reports and presentations

• Attend and participate in team meetings, prepare project artifacts, and ensure information accuracy

• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and systems

• Special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

Education

• Pursuing a degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related field

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

Experience

• Experience working on a team outside of school projects (e.g. at work or extracurricular activity)

• Experience with MS Office apps such as Excel, Power BI, or similar tools

​Abilities and Skills

• Proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and willingness to collaborate in a cross‑functional environment

• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accurac

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Project knowledge

• Familiarity with project management concepts, such as scheduling, RAID logs, and product lifecycle phases

• Familiar with Obeya, Kanban, or other Toyota Production System principals

• Jr. or Sr. year college students studying Engineering, Business, or a related field

• Interested in leadership roles

Required Availability

• Onsite, full time, during regular business hours.

Schedule

• 8AM-5PM Monday – Friday
