Job Description Summary

The Sr. Specialist, Professional Education Operations plays a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and tracking of educational initiatives for healthcare professionals. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a higly organized, proactive team player with foundational project management experience and exceptional attention to detail.

To ensure seamless operations, this individual will need to effectively collaborate primarily with the Associate Director of Surgical Education Operations, other Surgical Education Specialists, the Surgical Education Program Team, HCPs, and field Sales associates. This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with moderate guidance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinatelogisticsfor in-person and virtual surgical education programs, including case observations and Educational Speaker Programs, district labs, webinars, and other programs as needed.

  • Book HCP speakertraveland provide white-glove service to HCP speakers and program stakeholders.

  • Develop event promotional materials androuteformedical/legal/regulatory approval.

  • Update event management tool (CVENT) with program budget and other details.  

  • Track program metrics, including evaluation data,andmaintainaccuraterecords to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams includingthe Surgical Education Program Team,Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance to support program execution.

  • Maintain visibility into project progress through project managementtool(Asana) and regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Ensure all programscomply withcompany policies and industry regulations.

  • Identifyopportunities for process improvements in localmeetingand events execution.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required

  • 5+years of experiencein program coordination, project management, or administrative support required

  • Experience in meeting planning in a medical device or life sciences industry preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of healthcare compliance guidelines related to HCP interactions and education.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office; familiarity with event management tools (e.g.CVENT),project management tools (e.g.,Asana,SmartSheets), and content management systems (e.g.VeevaPromoMats)is a plus.

  • Ability to apply knowledge and skills to a variety of standard activities while growing in autonomy and impact.

  • Strongwritten and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectivelyand professionally with external partners.

  • Must be able to speak and write English fluently.
