Job Description

Responsibilities::

• Supports manufacturing operations (3rd Shift) for injection molding processes, including machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.

• Executes production schedules by adjusting machine parameters, monitoring equipment efficiency, and ensuring proper material availability and handling.

• Maintains consistent product quality by following standardized processes, performing in-process inspections, and identifying defects or process deviations.

• Collaborates with engineering and production teams to optimize cycle times, improve yield, and ensure output meets required volume and quality targets.

Key Skills

• Injection molding machine setup and operation (presses, auxiliaries)

• Process parameter adjustment (temperature, pressure, cycle time)

• Mold installation, changeovers, and preventive care

• Troubleshooting of molding defects (short shots, flash, sink, warp)

• Understanding of resins and material handling (drying, blending)

• Equipment monitoring and OEE awareness

• In-process inspection and basic metrology (calipers, gauges)

• Quality systems compliance (GMP, ISO 13485, documentation practices)

• Safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO)

• Production scheduling awareness and priority execution

• Lean manufacturing principles (5S, waste reduction)

• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude

• Team collaboration and communication skills
