Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Visually inspect glass cut lengths for quality defects and remove defective material as necessary.

2. Monitor quality and document results accurately according to procedures.

3. Maintain traceability through accurate placement of basket identification on corresponding carts.

4. Responsible for MES transactional process for related production area including verification of materials and their traceability.

5. Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to alarms for an ultrasonic washer as needed.

6. Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to Auto Glass Packer alarms to ensure uninterrupted operation and output.

7. Clean up any dropped glass around machine and assist the Cutting Operator in daily clean-up of the area.

8. Participate in periodic inventory verifications.

9. Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

DELIVERABLES:

• Immediate work area to be kept clean.

• High quality products produced per manufacturing documents.

• Accurate documentation.

• Raw and finished material transactions with proper documentation of required data to guide logistics, quality, production and finance systems.

• Compliance to production reporting guidelines with MES users.

Minimum Education:

This position has the following educational requirements:

Required Preferred Field(s) of Study

• H.S, Diploma/GED

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years manufacturing experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED

• 1-2 years related manufacturing experience preferred.

• MES and SAP experience preferred.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities (KSA’s):

• Measurement devices- Basic or Simple KSA

• Quality Records- Basic or Simple KSA

• Teamwork- Basic or Simple KSA

• Computer skills- Basic or Simple KSA

• Organization skills- Basic or Simple KSA

• Communication skills- Basic or Simple KSA

• Problem Solving skills- Basic or Simple KSA
