Job Summary

The Pyxis Go Live Consultant is a critical role responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and immediate operational readiness of BD Pyxis dispensing solutions for our clients in France. This position involves on-site support, training, and troubleshooting during the crucial go-live phase, guaranteeing a smooth transition and optimal user adoption.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide on-site, hands-on support to clients during the initial deployment and go-live phases of BD Pyxis dispensing systems (e.g., Pyxis MedStation, Pyxis Anesthesia Station).
* Conduct comprehensive end-user training sessions for healthcare professionals (nurses, pharmacists, technicians) on the proper operation, workflow integration, and best practices of Pyxis solutions.
* Assist in the configuration and validation of Pyxis systems, including formulary loading, user access setup, and system testing, in collaboration with project managers and technical teams.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients during go-live, addressing real-time questions, resolving immediate technical or workflow issues, and escalating complex problems to appropriate internal BD teams.
* Monitor system performance and user interactions post-implementation to identify and address any operational inefficiencies or training gaps.
* Document go-live activities, issues encountered, resolutions, and provide feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement of implementation processes.
* Collaborate with project managers, technical support, and sales teams to ensure a coordinated and successful client experience.
* Promote best practices in medication management and dispensing workflows utilizing BD Pyxis technology.
* Travel extensively throughout FBenelux to client sites as required for go-live support.

Job Qualifications

* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related healthcare or technical field.
* **Experience:**
* Minimum of10 years of experience in healthcare IT implementation, clinical training, or direct support of automated dispensing systems (preferably Pyxis).
* Demonstrated experience in a "go-live" support capacity within a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
* **Technical Skills:**
* Strong working knowledge of BD Pyxis dispensing solutions (e.g., MedStation, Anesthesia Station, SupplyStation) is a significant advantage.
* Familiarity with hospital pharmacy and nursing workflows, medication management processes, and patient safety principles.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts and software troubleshooting.
* **Language Skills:**
* Fluent in French (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
* Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is highly desirable, as internal communication and documentation may be in English.
* **Soft Skills:**
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support diverse audiences.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
* High level of adaptability and resilience, capable of managing challenging situations during critical implementation phases.
* Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
* **Other:**
* Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively (up to 80-90%) within France.
