About the role

The Financial Analyst BP&A Corp Functions GBS willsupport Finance Business Partners and BP&A GBS leadership with planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Supports the Assoc Director BP&A Corp Functions GBS with BP&A activities including:

• Supports End to End GBS BP&A Mgmt Process

• Supports all planning and budgeting effort for the assigned business unit(s)

• Maintains financial planning models, develops forecasts, trends and supports performance management analysis and commentary development

• Understands budgeting, planning and operational data to run standard reports and develop ad-hoc reports using the globally standardized tools

• Prepares ad hoc analysis for BP&A GBS leadership, Business Partners and Corporate BP&A on an as-needed basis

• Prepare monthly Journal Entries for the month end close process (including Intercompany charge outs to other Regions of the company)

• Track and analyze actual performance against plans for purposes of providing analysis and commentary for management decision support

Qualification and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required in one of these fields: Finance, Accounting, or Business (if relevant experience exists)

• Minimum of 1 year of finance experience with a focus on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, month end close, and reporting required. Accounting background a plus

• Professional experience in large global multi-segment business with month end close relating to journal entries and intercompany charges

• Ability to go beyond the numbers and determine the root cause of variances, and consider the broad business implications in helping identify opportunities and improve performance/process

• Experience with centralized accounting ERP (SAP), HR (Workday), BPC (Budget, Planning, Consolidations), and Power BI

• Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships
