Job Description Summary

Supports the Facility as HR business partner in all activities related to keep employees engaged and
retained, such as labor relations conflict management, talent acquisition, performance management,
engagement programs, communication programs, rewards and recognition, employee events, payroll
related issues, HR services (transportation and cafeteria) and union support on timely manner and with high
service standards.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)


• Participate along with Sr. Human Resources Manager in planning and executing strategies for
department functions.
• Talent Retention: Facilitates HR programs related to reduce turnover, absenteeism and keep
employees engaged.
• On boarding Process: follow up on the 3-day orientation check list to ensure that Direct or Indirect
labor employee has all basic tools to do their job (id badge, transportation route, Visa debit card,
personal protective equipment, etc.)
• Employee Engagement: Facilitation and follow up of environmental survey action plan, facilitate
focus groups process and follow up on action plants to improve environment and keep motivational
programs running on a monthly basis.
• Labor relations: Monitoring of labor environment. Detect possible problems between employees and supervisors, act on timely manner, to avoid any conflict to reduce risk of labor litigations, keeps
contact with plant attorney for consultation and negotiate with union.
• HR Services administration: Cafeteria &, Transportation, for all employees, applies service surveys
and follow up action plans to keep continues improvement service.
• Track daily turnover and absenteeism and implement with supervisor action plans to mitigate high
rates as well as turnover.
• Talent Acquisition: Works together with TA to defines strategies of talent attraction and recruitment
process for Direct and Indirect labor and participate on recruiting and selection process as needed.
• Promotion Process: Keep promotion process updated and execute.
• Reporting: Provides daily, weekly, and monthly reports (absenteeism, turnover, headcount) to
corporate and other reporting related files as requested.
• Responsible to associate’s terminations voluntary and involuntary process.
• Responsible to maintain communication between departments attending daily tier meetings.
• Facilitates HR services such as transportation, cafeteria during normal and overtime, follow up
actions oriented to improve services & processing invoices for payment.
• Participate with Human Resources Manager in the department development plan.
• Coordinate and communicate special plant activities.
• Advise supervisors and managers in fulfillment of the internal rules.
• Support associates in issues related to INFONAVIT, retirement pension (AFORE), FONACOT, etc.
• Keep the employee investigation process for the application of penalty for separation from the
company, when necessary, in coordination with the Human Resources Manager and legal
representative of the company. Confirm payment previously authorized with official dependence.
Follow up labor cases in view of the Board of Conciliation and Arbitration

Participate in company program projects, motivational and for recognition.
• HR policies administration & internal rules application based on attorney recommendation.
• Support HR related activity as required.
• Mandatory compliance to general and safety procedures applying to this position and quality System
compliance.
• C&B: Medical, life, car insurance administration and other benefits as required.
• Filing direct and indirect labor.
• May include any other activity as assigned by HR Manager

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree completed at any administrative career.
• Minimum 5 year of experience at Human Resources area.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Computer literacy in Microsoft office.
• Knowledgeable on how to apply Mexican legislation to mitigate labor suits and keep company under
compliance.
• TRESS System expertise

• Spoken & written English 75%
