Job Description Summary

The Clinical Solutions Manager (CSM) role will bridge the gap between the clinical and business aspects of UCC. They are responsible for ensuring that BD solutions are introduced and understood by key stakeholders throughout a health system by communicating end-to-end connected solutions, enhanced compliance, standardization, workflow efficiency, clinical effectiveness, expanded data insights and economic efficiencies in the high acuity population ranging from neonate to adults. The CSM will be an integral team member and change agent to deliver the clinical value wedge for the holistic UCC product portfolio. The CSM will serve as a clinical leader across UCC to support the development, growth, and achievement of clinical support roles while meeting business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster a continually evolving partnership between multiple hospital departments, C-Suite, UCC National Accounts, and Regional Sales leaders from Acute Care and TTM businesses.

  • Maintain knowledge andexpertiseas a TTM and Acute Care solution expert, i.e., products (ArticSun, Arctic Gel Pads,Sensica, BBS,SureStepproducts, Foley Alternatives, etc.) and BD clinical value wedge (Analytics Portal, EMR interoperability, BD Acute Academy, Clinical Connect Program, Virtual Reality, etc.) 

  • Leverage TTM Solutionand Zero-In Lifecycle Assessment datato lead and partner in change management activities associated with process improvement recommendations from data insights gained. 

  • Effectively deliver presentations and reports to various audiences: Nursing Leadership, C-Suite, Department Directors, Medical Directors, and Supply Chain.

  • Collaborates with the Regional Salesteam during quarterly Territory Business Planningand WIN Room Discussionsto discuss facilitating strategy for current and competitive Key Accounts.

  • Network andparticipatein local, state, and national associations, i.e., AHA, SCCM, NANN, AAP, APIC, AACN, andWOCN.

  • Interact with customer committees asrequested(i.e., product, safety, infection control, policy committees, code blue, critical care, emergency medicine, and BioMed.) 

  • Maintainsa strong presence on TTM and Acute Care regional teams toassistin strategizing and implementing the UCC clinical solutions to our key accounts,along withproviding ongoingclinical support for regional sales team membersduring account business planning.

  • SupportsUCCClinicalManagers' continueddevelopment through field-rides, consistent communication, collaboration and feedbackas needed.

  • Serve asa key leader in driving and deploying clinical best practices in the field to allow a consistent customer approach and maximizethe time of the UCC team members.

  • Under the leadership of theClinical Solution Director and Senior Clinical Solution Manager, this role willbea key member of the clinical innovation team, supporting thedevelopment and deployment of refined and/or new clinical programs and offerings for theAcute Care and TTMsales/clinical teams.

  • Serve as key liaison with theUCCmarketing teamsto provide intel, perspective,and recommendations on strategy and deployment of initiatives.

  • Consistent time in the field is essential, specific to theneeds of the business units, customer engagements, and coordination of important initiatives.

  • SupporttheClinical Solution Directorand marketing team in developing a robust KOL strategy in the US region.

  • Work closely withtheDirector of National Accounts (DNA’s)to best position and convey our clinical solutions tocustomersand end-users.

  • Assistinonboarding sales/clinical new hiresas necessary, in close partnership with Acute Careand TTMtraining teams.

  • Must be flexible to meet the needs of a growing Acute Care and TTM business, understanding thatadditionalneeds may be added to the job description.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of3-5years’ experienceanddemonstratedconsistent success in process improvement, best practices, and change management within the MedTech industry, clinical, sales, and/or marketing experience in MedTech.

  • Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree, degree level qualification,or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Travel time:Up to75% per week,including overnighttravel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding ofHealthcare and Life Sciences industry trends, theneonatal, pediatric, and neuro care setting,competitive threats, and opportunities.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional/matrixial environment.

  • Value co-creation and joint solution development in B2Bbusiness.

  • Lean Six SigmaCertificationpreferred.

  • Proven analytical skills,which include problem-solving, qualitative reasoning, and hypothetical-driven consulting approaches.

  • Ability to Navigate the C-Suite with the aid of the UCC National Accounts and the Strategic Customer Groupduring customerengagements.

  • Ability to effectively present complex data insight and information in a one-on-one or group situation using effective communication tools and techniques.

  • Decipher analyticsto providevaluable data insightsthatcan beleveragedto meet accreditation requirements, CDC guidelines for infection prevention,andJoint Commission requirements.

  • DemonstratedproficiencyutilizingWord, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; Advanced knowledgeofPowerBi, QlikView, Salesforce, andShowpad.
