BD Parata is currently seeking a Field Support Engineer in the Dallas, TX. Regional area. The Field Support Engineer will provide in depth technical and customer support of BD Parata’s suite of pharmacy automation products. In this role you will travel regionally to provide industry leading support and service to Pharmacies in multiple types of environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver world-class customer service and problem resolution at client sites, while cultivating positive customer relations through professional handling of complaints and inquiries in a collaborative manner.
Provide expert instruction to customers on BD Parata's pharmacy automation products, including operation procedures and daily maintenance requirements, while responding to service requests within established SLA timeframes.
Work closely with regional and national service team members to identify and resolve complex technical issues, occasionally assisting the Product Implementation Team with new automation installations.
Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities by providing detailed descriptions of issues encountered and resolution actions taken in Salesforce Field Service Lightning.
Demonstrate willingness to travel outside the local region with occasional overnight stays, and provide coverage during weekends and holidays with potential overtime as required by service demands.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma
3-5 years of experience in a field service role
Proficiency with digital multi-meters and voltage/amperage testers.
Understanding of ghosting and re-imaging processes.
Knowledge of setup and use of routers and switches.
Preferred Requirements:
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems including Windows 2000, XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11 is required.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
Extensive knowledge of basic computer networking including use of windows tools to identify network and pc information.
Ability to locate and edit configuration and XML files within a file structure.
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use standard hand tools to perform in depth disassembly and reassembly of complex subsystems.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Position requires working in both outside environmental conditions and inside pharmacy environments during service or maintenance activities, exposing the individual to various workplace settings.
Work involves long periods of standing (up to 10-12 hours occasionally), frequent walking, and navigating through pharmacy locations with potential hazards. Must be able to perform various physical movements including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crouching, crawling, reaching, and grasping.
Position requires significant finger dexterity for picking, pinching, typing, and grasping, often involving repetitive motions that support pharmacy service operations.
Must demonstrate ability to carry, lift, and push/pull up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally, requiring good physical strength and proper body mechanics.
Daily car travel averaging four hours per day is required, with occasional shorter or longer drive times. Occasional air travel may be necessary, indicating this is a field-based position requiring mobility between multiple pharmacy locations.
