As a leading manufacturer and supplier of products that are used daily in healthcare, the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) team provide a wide range of products for injection and infusion therapy, regional anaesthesia and closed medication management.
About the role
The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Medical Delivery Solutions (MDS) in Egypt is responsible for driving business development within designated key accounts. This role focuses on developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and positioning BD MDS products and solutions as the preferred choice to achieve business objectives.
Main responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement comprehensive account plans for key hospital groups, governmental institutions, and other strategic customers within the MDS portfolio.
Drive awareness of BD Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) by identifying new opportunities, communicating value propositions, and drive activities to achieve business goals.
Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers, clinicians, and collaborators.
Identify new opportunities by monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Collaborate with marketing, clinical applications, customer service, and local partners to ensure seamless execution.
Provide accurate forecasts and insights to guide planning and achieve targets.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and resolve issues proactively.
Ensure compliance with BD policies, industry regulations, and ethical guidelines.
About you
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration (Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus).
Minimum 5 years in sales and key account management within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Experience with medication delivery solutions is an advantage.
Strong understanding of the Egyptian healthcare landscape, hospital systems, and procurement processes.
Ability to plan carefully, negotiate, and develop strong relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Highly motivated, dedicated, and committed to achieving goals.
Ability to travel extensively within Egypt and internationally as needed.
