The IT Business Partner – Quality serves as a key liaison between the Global Quality organization and IT, supporting the execution of approved business and technology strategies through effective delivery of technology solutions. Reporting to Technology and Global Services (TGS) leader, this role focuses on translating Quality business needs into well‑defined IT initiatives, coordinating solution delivery, and ensuring alignment with BD enterprise standards, governance, and compliance requirements.This position operates as a senior individual contributor, influencing through expertise, collaboration, and execution excellence within a regulated, global environment.

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Execution
Partner with Global Quality stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clearly defined technology initiatives aligned with approved strategies
Serve as a primary point of coordination between Quality teams and IT delivery, product, and platform teams
Provide input and recommendations to senior leaders to support decision‑making, escalating risks, dependencies, and constraints as needed
Technology Delivery & Product Support
Support delivery and lifecycle management of assigned Quality technology solutions within defined scope and governance
Coordinate with Product Owners, Platform Leads, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are implemented in accordance with enterprise roadmaps and standards
Ensure technology solutions support key Quality processes such as Complaint Management, Field Action, Document Management, and other regulated process and applications
Program & Project Management
Lead or support execution of approved programs and projects, including planning, delivery coordination, stakeholder communication, and change management
Track progress, dependencies, and risks, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
Support benefits realization tracking and post‑implementation reviews to ensure outcomes align with approved business cases
Compliance & Quality Systems Enablement
Ensure technology solutions are delivered in compliance with applicable Quality and Regulatory requirements (e.g., cGxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
Support system documentation, validation activities, testing protocols, and audit readiness in alignment with BD Quality standards
Collaborate with Quality and IT partners to support continuous improvement of regulated systems and processes
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with other IT Business Partners to promote integrated, non‑siloed solutions
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and optimization within assigned scope
Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices across the TGS and Quality communities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
6–8 years of experience supporting technology solutions in Quality, Regulatory, or other regulated business functions
Experience working in a medical device, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated environment
Working knowledge of Quality and Regulatory standards (e.g., cGxP, 21 CFR Part 11)
Experience with system development lifecycle activities, including documentation, testing, and validation
Strong project and program coordination skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Quality management systems such as TrackWise, SAP, Siemens, LIMS, or similar platforms
Familiarity with Product‑based delivery models and Agile methodologies
Experience supporting global deployments and adoption of enterprise technology solutions
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global organization
