Job Overview:

The Sr. Manager Supply Chain Customer Operation Excellence serves as a strategic liaison between BD and key external stakeholders to advance BD’s healthcare transformation vision through enhanced transparency, resiliency and supply chain excellence.  Incumbent will manage BD’s HIRC Supply Chain Resiliency program for North America, including expanding current program and managing customer communications related to status of program, event management and or leading customer response requirements.

Additionally, incumbent will manage the expansion of current HIRC program to include BU’s not currently under certification.  Focus on MDS, SM, and eventually APM.  We monitor ongoing requirements to ensure all existing and future HIRC are current and meet industry standards.

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Relations and dotted line to Sr. Director, Supplier Risk, Strategy Execution & Governance, this role collaborates cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Public Affairs, and external organizations to implement strategic programs – including the Healthcare Transformation initiatives, and BD transparency & resiliency efforts in partnership with HIRC and SRS. The role also leads internal and external communications strategies, ensuring BD’s performance and transparency are effectively communicated and aligned with stakeholder expectations. This individual will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve service levels, streamline processes, and drive operational excellence across the end-to-end supply chain. The role requires a strong blend of customer-centric thinking, data-driven decision-making, and supply chain expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
  • 5 -7 years of industry experience within the Healthcare or Medical Device sector.
  • Proven customer engagement experience, with emphasis on Demand Management and Customer Excellence/improvement in Supply Chain.
  • Project Management experience with the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
