The Advanced Healthcare Services Team is responsible for key projects relating to market access and market development for BD's products in Central Eastern Europe with focus on GSA. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and successfully completing projects within the allotted timeline and resources. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across various departments. The role is part of the strategic function "BD Advanced Healthcare Services", which also includes Strategic Account Management & Key Account Management as well as Strategic Marketing and Policy/Public Health functions. The interdisciplinary staffing of the entire department enables close collaboration and interlinking important competencies to develop and implement future-oriented solutions for our customers and patients. Responsibilities

The vacant position is responsible for conception and implementation of projects that aim to successfully introduce BD´s innovations and to develop the healthcare environment for existing solutions in GSA. 

The ideal candidate (m / f / d) can anticipate the need for growth driven projects, to actively manage the internal environment and to successfully execute strategic projects. The main tasks and responsibilities can be summarized as follows:

• Develop and define project goals, scope, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and other staff members.
• Lead and coordinate project staff and resources to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
• Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate proactively the status, issues, and risks involved in the project to all stakeholders.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting, ensuring projects are completed within the approved budget.
• Identify and minimize project risks throughout its life cycle.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

The candidate (m / f / d) reports to the Senior Director Public Policy & Advocacy and AHS C&EE. The position is in Heidelberg and can be handled remote partially with the main focus on GSA. 

Candidate profile and experience

A preferred candidate (m/w/d) comes with the following profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or related field.
• A master’s degree or an advanced certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of project management and HEOR experience.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a project lifecycle.
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management, or change management.
• Evaluate the economic impact and patient outcomes of healthcare interventions medical devices by analyze data, conduct studies, and develop models to assess the value of these interventions in terms of cost-effectiveness, clinical outcomes, and patient well-being in close collaboration with Market Access and Medical colleagues.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, SFDC, OKR systematic and project management tools.
• Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of change management and performance evaluation processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and deadlines.
