Key Responsibilities:
Lead the product strategy and launch for a new APM monitoring portfolio, assessing product feasibility, validating commercial opportunity, and guiding development of capital monitoring solutions
Provide voice of customer in order to translate market needs and opportunities into overall strategic direction for the product portfolio and launch planning
Lead market research efforts to support product development, claims generation, and launch strategy
Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical, engineering, regional, and global marketing teams to define product strategy
Coordinate and engage with other members of the BD Connected Care businesses to align on cross-business product design, launch strategy, and go-to-market activities
Collect, analyze, and provide recommendations from customer and field team product feedback for incorporation into product enhancements and future pipeline
Prepare presentation materials for product strategy and marketing activities and deliver them to an executive audience while maintaining
Other incidental duties
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required with eight years of marketing, finance, or engineering experience or
Master's Degree or equivalent with six years of marketing, finance, or engineering experience
Preferred Requirements:
Six years of marketing experience in medical device or healthtech
Six years of experience as a product or project manager
Required Skills:
Proven experience in product development and launch execution, preferably in the medical device space
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
Experience working in, marketing, health-tech, or healthcare industry preferred
Substantial understanding in tracking and interpreting market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics
Substantial knowledge of marketing concepts and principles
Ability to create comprehensive marketing strategies with supporting plans and the ability to execute.
Strong Upstream Marketing skills including VOC, product definition, user need identification, and launch planning
Demonstrated passion for emerging technology, automation, and healthcare innovation
Possess a clinical knowledge related to hospital environment, clinical practice and reimbursement policies
Strict attention to detail and ability to be decisive in an often ambiguous environment
Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations across business units
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple product lines
Ability to create and maintain Excel financial/forecast models to support business cases, market segment evaluations and commercial pathways for short-term and long-term initiatives
Ability to work in a team environment, working closely with global marketing team, key opinion leaders and regional sales teams
Experience collaborating with R&D and Engineering teams to bring new technologies to market
