About the role

We are seeking a Senior UI Designer to lead the design of intuitive, safe, and compliant user interfaces for medical devices. This role bridges visual/UI design and human factors engineering, ensuring products deliver excellent usability while meeting regulatory and clinical requirements.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Design user interfaces for medical devices that are clear, consistent, and safety‑focused

• Apply human factors and usability engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle

• Collaborate with human factors engineers, clinical experts, QA/RA, and engineering teams

• Create wireframes, high‑fidelity UI designs, interaction flows, and design specifications

• Support and interpret usability studies, formative and summative testing, and risk mitigation

• Contribute to usability documentation in alignment with IEC 62366 and FDA guidance

• Evolve and maintain design systems and UI standards for regulated products

About you

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience, preferably in medical devices or regulated industries

• Strong understanding of human factors, usability engineering, and risk‑based design

• Proven ability to design for complex systems with safety‑critical workflows

• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, AXURE, Adobe CC)

• Experience collaborating in cross‑functional, regulated product teams

Salary Range Information

€54,800.00 - €83,600.00 EUR Annual
