Duties and Responsibilities:
Will develop the inspections required in the aforementioned list by means of priorities so the release goal is reached on your dates.
Inspection must be carried out through receipt inspection procedures and according to the required characteristics of our material.
Will identify through QNS the non-conforming raw material found during the receipt inspection using SAP system.
Will have participation in the generation of kaizen sheets to help improve our inspection and/or manufacturing areas when deemed vital or there is a significant improvement.
Responsible for direct support in the incoming inspection test for new processes validation or revalidation.
Must align with all local, state, federal regulations and all BD-Quality and safe policies as well as align with and enforce the procedures and practices contained therein, including good manufacturing practices.
Will maintain the incoming inspection area with few inspection materials. Keep QC hold area as clean as possible and with the least number of materials in this area. Handle other assignments as required
Will participate in blitz and six sigma projects as required., ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards as defined in the BD Quality and environment manual as supervised by the computer system (I.T Enterprise), as well as approve the first supplier sample (proofs) in conjunction with Engineering to verify the material before another batch arrives.
Will advise to the Documentation personal of any discrepancy found in the documentation and support other areas such as warehouse, Engineering, purchasing, planning, and production.
Must maintain lots with less than 7 days in inspection, keep C2C current and without expired procedures, keep the inspection area tidy and clean, and use all measuring instruments applicable to the area.
Will inspect at least 90% of the materials received (except for new ones) as well as participate in foreign training or training courses related to the department and / or area.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or equivalent experience
Basic knowledge of SAP
Skill in acceptance and rejection of transactions on SAP system
Knowledge of release procedures and measurement equipment to be used in the release of materials
Knowledge in the daily review of the list of material to inspect by receipt inspection that is found within SAP
