Overview
The Vice President Pharmacy Automation META (“VP”) is a supervisory role reporting directly to the President META with close alignment to the VP/GM Pharmacy Automation Platform.
In this role, you will lead, develop and implement Marketing, Sales, and Support strategies for the Pharmacy Automation Business Unit for the META market.
As a member of the META Leadership Team and the Global Pharmacy Automation Leadership Team, you will be the main responsible for setting and driving the three-year strategic, operational and financial plan for Pharmacy Automation, setting high-reaching financial targets and achieving profitable growth, above market growth, conducting new market / opportunity analysis and building and engaging a highly effective team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an understanding of the META market including future trends and the competitive landscape.
Develop a strategic understanding / relationships with key customers. Effectively engage network of key influencers to drive strategic health care policy directions
Responsible for driving the annual Pharmacy Automation META operating plan including meeting sales, gross profit and key financial metrics.
Collaborate with Global Platform Leaders and Country General Managers to define new opportunities for entry into BD’s product development funnel and ensure commercial excellence for new product launches.
Work closely with peer regional VPs to support country organizations to implement strategic priorities as defined under the regional Commercial Excellence program. Drive meticulous rigor in sales excellence and adherence to SFDC.
Partners with leaders across platforms, regions, R&D, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and finance to understand, develop and implement the strategic agenda through operational planning, process development and implementation of key projects.
Supervise regional product pricing corridors, guidelines and policies for products sold in the META markets, in close alignment with Country Business Leaders to ensure regional pricing consistency and local competitiveness.
Develop and implement the interpersonal capability plan in support of the strategy, crafting a highly customer centric organization demonstrated via personal leadership.
Responsible for strengthening associate and leadership engagement in the Pharmacy Automation META organization.
Identify acquisition targets in the region that can potentially have an immediate, transparent impact on BD's profit margin and growth rate in the region.
Experience
Meaningful experience in Sales and Marketing, including proven P&L management experience, preferably in the medical devices' market.
Proficiency in marketing, selling and new business development skills.
Knowledge and Skills

Previous working experience with general management either in global, regional or country business leadership role
Consistent track record of business / commercial success in a health care environment
Proven knowledge of META healthcare system, environment and its key partners
Experience in marketing innovation, market access and business development
Experience in organizational change and change management
Experience and/or capability to collaborate optimally with external leaders and key influencers
Solid understanding across multiple functional areas
Experience in leading cross-sector initiatives
Demonstrated skills in attracting talent, leading and motivating organizations

English language fluency required with Arabic language fluency an asset.
Job location Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Relocation support will be provided if needed.
