Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Product Manager to lead the Smart Recovery Consumable product portfolio across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This role is crucial for driving the growth and profitability of our capital equipment offerings, requiring a strong blend of market understanding, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional leadership.
Job Responsibilities
* **Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development:** Define and execute the APAC capital product strategy, including market segmentation, competitive analysis, and identification of new growth opportunities. Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, ensuring alignment with global strategies and regional market needs.
* **Product Lifecycle Management:** Own the entire product lifecycle for assigned capital products in APAC, from ideation and concept development to launch, growth, and end-of-life planning.
* **Market Intelligence & VOC:** Conduct in-depth market research, customer surveys, and competitive intelligence gathering to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the APAC region. Translate Voice of Customer (VOC) insights into actionable product requirements.
* **New Product Introduction (NPI):** Lead and support successful new product introductions in APAC, collaborating closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless launches and effective market adoption.
* **Sales Enablement & Support:** Develop compelling sales tools, training materials, and messaging to equip the APAC sales force with the knowledge and resources to effectively position and sell capital products. Provide ongoing product expertise and support to regional sales and marketing teams.
* **Pricing & Profitability:** Define and implement optimal pricing strategies for capital products across APAC markets, balancing market competitiveness with profitability goals. Monitor product performance and implement actions to optimize profitability.
* **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Foster strong collaborative relationships with global product teams, regional marketing, sales, regulatory, clinical affairs, and supply chain functions to ensure effective product management and execution.
* **Regulatory & Compliance:** Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure all capital products comply with local regulations and certifications across APAC markets.
* **Forecasting & Inventory Management:** Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain to ensure accurate forecasting and optimal inventory levels for capital products.
Job Qualifications
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences). MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* **Experience:**
* A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in marketing or product management, including at least 2–3 years in a regional marketing or product management role with a strong focus on capital equipment, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.
* Demonstrated experience in managing products across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, understanding diverse market dynamics and regulatory landscapes.
* Proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving market growth.
* Experience with product lifecycle management from concept to end-of-life.
* **Skills:**
* Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to drive cross-functional teams without direct authority.
* Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with experience in pricing, forecasting, and profitability management.
* Proficiency in English; additional APAC language proficiency is a plus.
* Ability to travel frequently across the APAC region.
