    Becton Dickinson (BD) recently completed the acquisition of the Edwards Critical Care business.  This position is part of the Critical Care division, and as such will become a part of the BD organization in the future.  Critical Care will operate as a separate business unit, called Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligning with BD's smart connected care approach.  BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world and is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care.   • Logistics & Warehouse (Distribution Center) Management
  • Liaise with DC Operations Group at 3PL to ensure available resources to support EW demands such as arranging for storage of inventory, applying proper local language labeling and IFU, etc.
  • Support the business relationship with 3PL warehousing providers: join MBR, effective communication and monitor warehousing activities.
  • Drive continuous improvements for operational set-up. Identify opportunities to optimize process flows, warehouse solutions, equipment, tools, etc.  As well as lead the implementation of these initiatives.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to improve supply chain operations
  • Fulfill orders to the satisfaction of the customers and arrange for prompt deliveries.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders/ domestic transportation partners/ customs / relevant government departments to ensure cost effectiveness, quality, timeline are met
  • Sales & Operation and Demand Planning:
    - Generate a monthly Net Demand Forecast in alignment with the Sales Forecast and the Marketing, supported by adequate documentation.
    - Prepare, engage, validate the Net Demand Forecast through the Sales Operation Planning process
    - Play a key role in the Demand Forecast Process implementation & testing in JDA
    - Launch, divestiture and transition management
    - Create a toolkit, reports, KPI’s to facilitate follow up
  • Supply Planning & Inventory Management:
    - Prepare the Excess & Obsolete inventory monthly reserve
    - Prepare & participate quarterly to the budget cycles (Demand, Inventory, Freight in/out; E&O)
    - Provide regular analysis and reporting, including information on:
    Backorders, Service levels (actual vs. plan). Inventory Value, Consignment levels, actual vs. plan
    - Collaborate with logistics to identify opportunities for cost and service improvement for freight
    - Minimize expired products
    - Contribute to new product launch planning, ensuring supply to support launch on time at budget
    - Manage relations with Supply Chain counterparts around the globe
    - Continuously monitor inventory coverage development to achieve target levels and early shortages / backorders / excess inventory detection. Follow up and action when needed.
    - Field inventory management, understand and follow up with the Control Tower / SC Analysts. (when applicable)

    Proactively communicate to management on delivery status, back-order root causes (out of stocks), recovery details as required and communicate with the customer service
  • Other Duties:
    - Support action plans to minimize Excess & Obsolete Inventory
    - Approve and follow up product movements in distribution network
    - Contribute to new product launch planning, ensuring supply to support launch on time at budget
    - Act as a back-up in case of absence of team members

What you'll need (Required):

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 - 5 years’ related experience in supply chain management
  • Experience in demand planning, supply planning, distribution planning, production planning, inventory management, logistics management, customer service.
  • Experience in using ERP systems (JDE, SAP, etc.).
  • Experience working in a Medical device OR FMCG OR Logistics industry preferred.
  • Ability to translate commercial insights into supply chain actions.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders, work independently, collaboratively, and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE), Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) with implementation experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Statistical Forecasting Tools and Advanced Planning Systems (APS) Software is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP system implementation project is a plus.

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and experience of Forecasting / Budget process a strong plus (minimum 3-5 years) preferably within JDA/Blue Yonder
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Result oriented. Accurate.
• Advanced skills in data analysis utilizing MS Excel and possibly QlikView
• Capability to work independently.
• Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Adaptability — Ability to react to change in an efficient manner
• Prioritization — Ability to establish a hierarchy of importance to a number of tasks or needs and to organize work accordingly
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
