The Assembler I is responsible for performing a variety of basic assembly operations to produce products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures according to established procedures and blueprints.

  • Read and interpret basic assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of material.

  • Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality defects, reporting any issues to a supervisor.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles.

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Assist with material handling and packaging as needed.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs as required.


Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to read and understand basic English instructions and safety warnings.

  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and stand for extended periods.

  • Basic understanding of quality control principles.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
